Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated 25 years in public service with an address at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ in New Delhi, emphasizing his vision for a developed India by 2047. Reflecting on his political journey that began on October 7, 2001, as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Modi expressed gratitude to citizens and party workers, attributing his achievements to their trust and support.
In his speech, Modi acknowledged the role of both supporters and critics in shaping his career. “Those who brought me down taught me how to rise again,” he stated, highlighting the lessons learned from challenges faced over the years. He reiterated the importance of collective efforts to make India self-reliant and one of the world’s top three economies by 2047.
Modi expressed profound appreciation for the citizens, describing them as his greatest strength. “For me, people are God,” he declared, while also lauding the dedicated efforts of BJP workers who have supported his journey. The Prime Minister stressed the significance of serving humanity and working collectively towards national progress.
Continuing his address, Modi shared his lifelong passion for learning, stating, “Even today, I consider myself a student.” He recounted his school days in Vadnagar and emphasized how his eagerness to learn has been a constant throughout his public life.
Highlighting India’s advancements in aviation, Modi mentioned the bravery of Indian pilot Smit Machchhar during a flydubai flight incident, expressing his belief that India will eventually manufacture its own aircraft.
