In both Raipur and Durg, several roads have been submerged, and riverside villages are experiencing severe water accumulation. Water has entered homes in low-lying areas, with the road connecting Raipur, Patan, and Durg through Mahadev Ghat being particularly impacted. This has led to traffic disruptions, and the Raipur-Bhilai route via Mahadev Ghat is also experiencing significant challenges due to waterlogging.
The situation in Amleshwar and Khudmuda villages in Durg district is especially dire, with strong water flow and submerged roads making it difficult for residents to move around. This has heightened concerns about the safety and accessibility of these areas.
